5 Tips on Painting Green

Not only can you be green with our environmentally friendly paints, but with the supplies you use and these tips and tricks.

1. Start with your paint selection, be sure to choose the right paint for you and the right color. Paint unused is wasted material. By using Posh Paints you will have no problem with choosing the right selection of green style paints.

2. Color is everything and believe it or not, can help the environment. By painting your walls a lighter color, they reflect light more and reduce the need for more artifical lighting, thus cutting back on electricty.

3. Having the right materials is also key. By using non-stick brushes, not only is clean up easier, but you will be able to use the brush and applicants over and over.

4. For those tough corners, edges and trims, don't waste your time with painters tape that doesn't always guarentee a straight edge. Not only will you save by no using the tape but by using a paint edger your lines will turn out crisp and professional.

5. Trays are also resuable, so be sure and get a non-stick tray, that way you can let the paint dry in the tray and peel it off later. This prevents paint from being dumped down the drain.
